Cody
Senior Stylist.
Color and Blonding Specialist + Salon Partner.
Cody specializes in hair color, cuts and special event/ updo styling. He also manages and operates the salon. Some of his favorite coloring techniques include balayage and foilayage highlighting. Cody also has excellent skills when it comes to using lightener and blonde hair color… believe me, if you’re blonde - you know why this is important!
Cody has a bachelors degree in fine arts, which helps him creatively master his craft. Since 2006, he has fine tuned his skills as a colorist and knows his way around the color wheel!
Fun fact: Cody has a cat named Chuck who’s Instagram famous!

Rachel
Haircut + Keratin Complex Expert.
Miss Rachel Casey is a boisterous, southern belle from Louisiana who tends to be a little on the perfectionist side. Her love for cutting hair, building relationships and expressing her creativity are the very reasons why she choose this industry. After her graduation from the Douglas J. Aveda Institute of Chicago in 2012 and her advanced education at the Sassoon Academy of Santa Monica in 2014, she would go on to complete a two year apprenticeship program with one of Chicago’s top and most prestigious stylists.
She is excited to bring her experience, knowledge and horrible jokes to Lakeview, her beloved community and home of nearly a decade.
Fun fact: Rachel has a chunky cat named Lucy, who is a known escape artist!

Kelsey
Clipper Wizard.
Kelsey is the clipper wizard! She knows how to do anything from a skin fade to a graphic clipper cut, but she can also do a standard buzz cut if that’s more your style. Kelsey is an artistic person who also loves doing color! Some of her favorite techniques are balayage highlighting for a more natural highlighted look, and fashion coloring for a statement look. She’s also talented in cutting long and curly hair… since her own hair is long and curly, she knows a thing or two about how it works!
Kelsey has been rocking out hair cuts and color since 2010 and has been trained in Paul Mitchell Academy.
Fun fact: Kelsey has a dog named Bear!

Katie
Business owner
Katie is the backbone of the business! She not only owns the salon business but she also owns and operates two Kiddie Academy day care centers in the Chicago area. A few years back Katie and a close friend had a vision to open a shop that was unique to the neighborhood, today it has grown into a thriving business where clients can come and enjoy their experience while being pampered.
Fun fact: The RK in RK Salon stands for Riley and Kennedy, her children!
